Elyos and Asmodians have different home worlds and campaign routes. Elyos explore Verteron; Asmodians explore Altgard. Your faction also determines your home-server list and your side in the Abyss and Spacetime Rifts. Dungeon parties can include players from both factions and different servers.

Different worlds, locations and campaign conflicts

The two campaigns use different territories, settlements and regional enemies. Use your faction's leveling route and map.

Elyos: Verteron

Cantas Valley, Verteron — Elyos territory.

  • Cantas Valley: a depleted Odylium region where the Dawn Legion searches for remaining deposits. Its hidden command base lies in a secluded ravine.
  • Ellun River Marsh: the Illusion Cavaliers occupy the ruined swamp while rebuilding Verteron's fallen Barrier Tower.
  • Aullaeu Village: a settlement at the edge of Tolbas Forest, inhabited by Balaur servants.
  • Altamia Canyon: an eastern canyon once home to the Zumion Temple, now resurfaced under the Notos Legion's watch.

Asmodians: Altgard

Moslan Forest, Altgard — Asmodian territory.

  • Safe Haven: a northern refuge that survived the Balaur assaults after a Dredgion fell.
  • Dredgion Crash Site: a scorched canyon where the wreck leaks Drakana and corrupts the surrounding land.
  • Moslan Forest: a burned former sanctuary of the Elim and Nornir, with wounded Elim among the ashes.
  • Nornir Assembly: a settlement of Moslan refugees protected by ancient magic and guided by Urd.

The main story also follows different faction histories: the Elyos face the destruction of Poeta and the corruption of Daevas bound to Surana; the Asmodians face Ishalgen's fall and Fafnir's imprisonment of Daeva souls.

Can Elyos and Asmodians run dungeons together?

Yes. Dungeon parties support players from the opposite faction and different servers. Leave My faction only unchecked when opening a party to both factions; enable it when you want a same-faction party.

Faction and home-server selection

Elyos and Asmodians have separate home-server lists. Agree on the region, faction and exact server name for shared world questing: for example, Europe, Elyos, Siel. Server names can repeat across regions.

An opposing server paired with yours is a war opponent, rather than another home server for shared campaign progress. The server guide lists regions and factions; character creation covers creating your character.

Abyss and Spacetime Rift opponents

In the Abyss, Elyos and Asmodians fight on opposing sides. In Spacetime Rifts, you travel to the paired enemy faction's territory: an Elyos character visits the Asmodian side, and an Asmodian character visits the Elyos side.

Each Elyos server is paired with an Asmodian server for these activities. The pairings can change, so the opposing server's player group can change while your character keeps its own faction and home server. See PvP for the combat modes and Spacetime Rifts for entering enemy territory.

Does a server transfer change your faction?

Server transfers keep your faction. Transfers begin on October 14, 2026; initially, Early Access characters can transfer only to Early Access servers. An Elyos character remains Elyos, and an Asmodian character remains Asmodian. See server transfer for the transfer conditions.
